Refurbishment and alterations to Grade II listed property

101 High Street in Lymington is a Grade II listed property consisting of an 18th century principal and a 19th century two storey rear building.  The scheme proposals comprised of subdivision of the upper floors into two self-contained apartments and re-separation of the 19th century building to form a two storey independent dwelling.

The design proposals were developed to respect the building's listed status and its location within the Lymington Conservation Area, as well as enhancing the original character of the building and the street scene in general.  The project also involved rectifying the extremely poor condition of the building, as well as removal and improvement upon previous unsympathetic changes made to the exterior and the interior of the building.
